If you’re one of the thousands of people who have been taken under the spell of poker then you will want to find out as much information as you can. Poker has become one of the most popular games over the past couple of years as the “World Series of Poker” tournaments have been shown all over cable. Various networks have started their own celebrity poker games, which have reached both critical and ratings success. But now, you want to learn more about the game, whether it is strategically or learn about some of the famous people. Here’s a listing to help you in your search.

PokerShopping.com offers a wide array of supplies, but I’ll talk about the DVDs available through their site. They offer DVDs from some of the poker “experts” who offer up their advice and strategies to win. Such personalities as John Patrick and Phil Hellmuth have created DVDs to help the desired win. Also available is the 2003 World Series of Poker DVD. The Super Bowl of Poker, is a must see for any avid or beginning poker fan.

SimplyPokerChips.com has a wider selection of DVDs available along with other supplies. They offer the first two seasons of the World Poker Tour television series. Various strategically based DVDs regarding Texas Hold’Em, No-Limit Hold’em, etc., are available. More personality based poker DVDs are listed with such names as Mike Caros, Howard Lederer and Sklansky.

DVDBeaver.com offers a sub-site based on reviews of some Poker-based DVDs. If you’re uncertain about a product, check out this site and see if you really should shell out the cash. Also on the site is a section dedicated to some recommended books you should read to smarten up on the game.

Of course, you can always go to such sites as Amazon.com or hit your local electronics retailer (FYE, Suncoast, Sam Goody, etc.) and check out their library of Poker DVDs. Either way, good luck to learning as much as you can on the subject and hopefully, it will lead you to some extra financial winnings.
