There are two basic approaches to strategy, both of which can work. Which is better for a given individual probably depends on your personality, but if you hope to become a good player, you probably have to become capable of both to a reasonable extent. One is being the aggressor at the table, the person the other players have to react to. The other is reacting to the opponents, trying to determine how each plays, and then adjusting your play accordingly depending on the situation and who's in which hand against you. |
