PAatience is the key to successful poker. It is better to wait for the good hand and play it, than play many hands, and try to bluff it. Or something like that, some guy in the chatroom told me that. I thought i was kinda funny at first. But yeah, i learned to be patient when playing poker, and that helped me more than anything. Cause im the gus hansen type playing every hand seeing a flop and sometiems that can get you into trouble when you have like 9 5 diamonds and flop comes 5 10 J diamonds , and you put your chips in and someone calls with a higher flush. That's why you need to be patient andnot play like Gus, unless you're very cautious, of what the other player could have. I've got myself into a ton of mess playing crappy hands and hitting a perfect flop then just realizing that I am beat by a higher two pair, better kicker, three of a kind better kicker. Stuff like that. so guys learn to be patient and i'll see ya at the tables. God Bless you. |
