Default Making your strategy posts more useful

While there is some good advice dispensed in this forum, I'd like to see the proportion increase - and there is substantial room for improvement. As a admited simplification, you can divide strategy posts into useful and not. The latter category includes more than poor advice. There are also quite a few posts that are simply not helpful, usually because they say nothing about how to play or how to think while posting.

I'll give a couple of example I just read. One basically said catch people bluffing early in tournaments to build your stack. The other said to be ahead when you get your chips in. Certainly not incorrect, but also not very useful.

So when you post strategy, it would be a lot more helpful if you remember to expand on such "mom and apple pie" statements by putting actionable advice, things to actually think about, or both.
