Lytspeed has been my nickname since I was in junior high school. I hung out with a crowd of geniuses (no, really!) and was always the last one to pick up on things. So they started calling me "Lightspeed," because I was "so quick." Rather than letting that get me down, I took ownership of the nickname and turned it around to be something positive.
The spelling has been modified over the years because of screen name availability and website domain availability. These days, I'm known more as Lytspeed than Lightspeed.
