Default Congress Passes Online Poker Bill

Well it looks like Congress passed a bill to make Online Poker illegal and now the Senate will address the bill. Betting on horses, lottery and bingo are still legal, but Poker was targeted. What a bunch of crap. The bill will be useless and unenforceable.

I wonder if the B&M (brick and mortar) casinos have been losing business since the explosion of Online Poker three years ago. I know that I have cut my visits down by at least 75% (3 or 4 times a year to once/year). My guess is that they are funding and pushing the bill. Any thoughts?

I believe that England is doing the right thing by keeping it legal. Unfortunately they will try to tax the online poker, therefore less money back to you and me.
