I think everybody started playing 5 card draw before the last 5 years. Now all the kids play holdem. Espn should get all the credit. I had never even heard of holdem till I saw it on t. v. I can't wait to watch WSOP every Tueday night. I can't wait to watch WPT every Wed. night. I think it has made me a better player. Anyway back to where I started, I bowl in a mens league and after every bowling night we go into the pro shop and play 2/4 for a couple hours. Its amazing how much money I make. Most of these guys have alot of money and they are true river rats. you lose some hands but win alot more. these guys come in and lose $200 almost every single week. Granted they do win some weeks even though its very rare, but thats what keeps them coming back for more. |
