First off with your chipstack you were at a point where you need to push all in or fold preflop, when I am in that situation unless I have a pair or at least an ace with a decent kicker I like to wait for the button or the blinds to make my push so I can pull it on people after the table has acted, however if you win that hand great but you had to know going in you were at best in a coin flip situation, the first thing Phill Hellmuth tells beginning poker players is always fold king jack to a raise, when I first started I didnt understand how weak this hand is I just saw to face cards, but now I realize how likely in holdem i am to be dominated. |
