I agree with you guys, I would have folded this hand pre-flop when the 500$ raise. This kind of hand is just too weak to call, especially short stacked. This was not the hand you needed to help you bring up your stack. There is just many possibilities for your to get beating on this kind of hand. But hey you tried it and now you know...
