I have a question regarding a final table appearance won through a satellite. You always see people wearing the endorsement merchandise (caps or jerseys with logos on them) at the final table. Now typically, the pros get paid to wear this merchandise, either through a direct endorsement deal, or by having invested in the site they are advertising.

Now if you won one of these satellites through an online poker room they would of course want you promoting their site. But do the players get any type of money for wearing their merchandise? Is it written into the contract that the player would be expected to promote the site? Is the player banned from wearing a competitor’s merchandise?
