 worst beat
my worst beat was on a hand in which i had pocket queens....unknown at the time the player to my left had pocket kings, to my right the player had jack 10 of hearts.....after a large raise preflop...the flop was dropped K, Q, 8...the king of hearts and the queen of hearts and the eight of hearts....i flopped trip queens, my friend flopped trip kings, and the other player flopped a flush....after a 2nd round of betting the turn card came out K...i made a full boat....my friend made quad kings and my other friend kept his King high flush.....after a final round of betting and the majority of my chips in the pot the river was a queen.....i was ecstatic....but tried to play it smooth by raising only a little...both the other players came over the top so i pushed all in...the cards were flipped and i saw i lost to the quad kings....tough luck |
