Usually my hunches are that someone else is going to suckout on me. For example Im dealt AA and raise big get reraised by another pocket pair usually queens I might add. My money is all in with the best hand. And of course I say to myself.... Watch them river me with a set..... I can almost predict that or someone catching their flush card on me... So I try not to think about it. If you dont think about it maybe it wont happen.
Now, if you are talking about making reads based on betting patterns, your opponents etc, I have gotten extremely good at that lately, guess this is a form of intuition too. However, sometimes the reads just arent on and you have a bad day (like yesterday for me). Maybe because you are tired or bored. When I run into bumps in the road like this, I take a break and do something else. |
