I did the LendingTree thing, and all I got was harrassed by some of the lending institutions wanting me to sign with them. They called everyday, several times a day. Their rates weren't any better then the rates offered by Countrywide or MBNA, or some of the bigger lending institutions.
I believe we are going to use USAA, so if anyone has any input about USAA's mortgage setup, let me know. They dont give commissions to their loan people, so they dont have any incentive to bump up the rates, or charge any of these odd charges. |
