I dont really agree with starting with play money, I mean unless you can build your play money bankroll fast so you can play at some of the higher levels all it really is, is shove in with any two card and call someone down with Jack high, at least that has been my exprience with the play money tables. I think as long as you have the basics down like the hand ranking and blinds and raising and stuff like that you should be fine with starting off in some mirco stakes. That way there will still be some poker being played and not just shove in with anything. Plus its not like its going to take a huge bankroll to play at those stakes. And youll have alot better experience for later.

Another piece of advice I would give is dont get caught just playing no limit holdem. There are tons of other great games out there and you never no which ones you like untill you try them. No limit might be the easiest to learn but that doesnt mean thats its the best game.

After you play for a while I would recomend the site fulltiltpoker. In my opion its the best site but there are no really mirco stake games like $.01/$.02 games so you might need a bit bigger of a bankroll.

Hope this helped
