i don't play ring games.. i play only S&Gs, HUPs tourneys and MTTs..
and you're right when you say that big money is out-there on ring games.. but i just can't handle the pressure of playing there.. i like to study my hands, read the opponents, play mathematicaly.. to play on ring games, if the minimum ammount of playing for ex on 1/2$ table 40$, you must bring 180$ and you must be ready to risk all ammount on one hand!
to play there you must have a goal.. is that to double-up your ammount you brought to the table, triple up and GET OUT from there, or something else.. when i played there i didn't have it.. i started to play ring games to redeem points and clear my deposit bonus on
titan.. i always tripled, then i say: let's stay one more round, to get more
titan points, then i'm dealt a trouble hand like QQ or KK.. and i'm toasted with str8, set, or ace-rag..
i play poker for hobby, not for living (for now), but i realized that big money can be made by only playing poker.. but winning big money in poker includes playing NL ring games.. i make from 150-300euros a month, playing only low s&gs, mtts, and hup low buy-in tourneys (i think i reached the skill to get in into bigger buy-in tourneys - and i will really soon).. and i'm pleased with my winnings.. i have fun and earn extra cash.. what else do i need?!
