Played in a $11 buy-in tourney at
Party Poker (screen name: iplaynuts) this evening, and took down 1st prize for $1551 in winnings.. This is my first ever 1st place victory in a $11 touney buy-in. There were a total of 660 players, and the tournament lasted about 5 hours.
On two occasions, i cracked AK with QK's...so i had my share of luck. I layed down a couple of big hands pre-flop as well.
When we were down to 9 people, i was the chip leader and
Party Poker allowed everyone to vote yes or no for equally distributing the winnings among the remaining players and end the game.
Originally, i was up for that idea, but the 2nd and 3rd place chip leaders voted against it. I'm glad they made that decision.
