I've been in a situation similiar to that...
I was third in chips... chip leader went all in... I almost called with my KK, but, took a minute and realized, if I am behind, or he sucks out, then my tourney is over.. 3 or so hours wasted... We were also on the bubble, hand by hand play....
I folded... he showed 72(sooted), but, I was still glad I folded... couple hands latre.. I was second in chips and the bubble was busted... I ended up in 4th place.. 6 bucks cashed, and advanced to the weekly.
I think I would only call, that close to the bubble, if I had the ALL IN player covered...or, more often than I care to admit, if I were drunk and really didn't care..... ( I don't get that many chips tho, playing drunk, all too often, so, that would be rare.. ) |
