I almost never show my cards for the simple reason that when you do you are giving away information. You may think by showing you are outsmarting your opponent but there is a good possibility that he or she may know exactly what you are trying to accomplish.
The only exception I make is if the other player is someone that I highly respect I may show him that I had the hand and wasn't bluffing. This is very rare because there are very few players that I highly respect. It is limited to ones that I have gone head to head on a final table at least 3 times and they have played sensible in all of them. |
