well it's really a matter of style of play and your skill.
most skilled players would choose to play sub-par hands early on when they can see the flop cheaply against many opponents.
good players are best because they are good at playing big stack,
this means that they'd take a bit of risk early on in the tourney to become a big stack or bust out early.
if they become big stack they are skilled enough to be the bully at the table and accumulate more chips, or they'd bust out early and not waste time, last thing a great player wants to do is be sitting on a dwindled stack throughout the tourney.
but ofcourse that's good players.. i think i'm yet to unskilled to do that.(easier said than done that is!) |
