But at what level do you play to remain safe?

I play 1-2 no limit holdem with $100 buyins

Yet I am still faced with players willing to chase me down even on a 100+ bet.

Earlier today I was in a tourney on short stack. In dealer position with AK suited.

I get a raise out a big stack before gets to me. I bump once and he calls. Flop two pair. I bet 5k he calls. Next card 4 and gives no help so I go all in with over 10k.

He calls with gut shot straight and ends up rivering me and putting me out of the tourney with two pair flying.

I can easily translate that over to a $100 game where I roll all in with my whole stack and get someone calling me.

I don't know how many times a similiar situation has happen in tourney or ring play. Limit or No Limit it seems there are always people willing to chase.

I often wondered if stepping up to a 5-10 or even 25-50 would change my percentages. I consider myself a good player as been playing cards for nearly 20 years. No big wins over 9k but I hold my own and play a very tight game.

By way who's the owner of this site? I own a forum to and like to meet the owner of Blind Bet.
