Please help me with this!!!!!!! Ok I was at the casno lastnight after my early exit to the freeroll(damn internet connection) any way after having ot wait 45 minutes to get an open seat I bought in for 150 in a 1-2 no limit I entered as the big blind and was dealt 4-2 of clubs(normally a hand I wouldn't play) anyway everyone limps in(9 players) so I chack my option and the flop comes three clubs it gets checked around and a man bets 6 dollars a women who is a loose as a you can ever be raise to 20 another man calls and another one calls so I put everyone on draws and top pair anything but a flush already so I raise it to 50 total the first better folds and the women goes all in for another 26 on top of my 50 total for a new total of 76 1 calls the 76 and another goes all in for 8 more so I call and the last guy calls so 4 people are in this hand after the flop with two all in(one of the guys tells me he is on a draw and I put him on the bnut flush draw and I was right)and I put 2 on flush draws and one on top pair the turn comes a blank and I check and the other guys moves all in enough to put me all in so after hearing everyone tell me I have the pot odds to call which I do because with so much in the pot I'm getting more than 3-1 on my money a hell of a lot ore than 3-1 I put in my last 66 dollars and I watch as the guy to my right shows A of clubs and a 5 of diamonds the loose women shows K of clubs and 7 of hearts and to my horror the guy I put on top pair shows Q-7 of clubs which has me drawing dead the river brings a nother diamond and I lose 150.00 in one hand.... No before people start calling me a donkey and say why would you call and raise so much with 4-2 of clubs think about the odds for a minute....I have a 0.84 percent of flopping a flush on the flop and I don't even know the odds that two people flop a flush and two more flop flush draws so what I want to know is could I have put someone else on a flush allready??? I put them on draws but could I really put someone on a flush? any insight from anyone would be appreciated and although I welcome constructive feedback I could do without and words of donkeyness because I can't see how I could be a donkey when I flop a flush |
