With only 6 outs (12-15% chance of catching a winning hand) after the flop and top pair on the board after the turn, I only see two decent options: check and see what the opponent does, or bet so far over the top that he thinks I have the diamond flush. If he's been playing very tight, I would probably try the bluff. If he's been unpredictable, or if he's a new player to me, I would check. If he pushed, I would put him on the flush or straight and I would fold.
