I dont mind the trash talking to a certain point. I will even razz some people once and awhile - ie ("I am gonna double up next hand, and its gonna be at your expense" - etc).
What I cant stand is the consistent, non-stop, stupid trash talking. I was playing the other night, and I was doing very well. This one guy just hated the fact that I had won a couple of hands against him, and kept telling me that he was gonna "destroy my chip stack", and he kept saying it, and saying it. It was driving me nutso.
As for the guy who comments all the time as to what I should have done, I can blow him off as a know-it-all, and he doesnt bother me. Also, you can tell him to stop commenting on my hands, and he will more then likely stop. Whereas if you tell a trash-talker to stop, that just flames the fire. |
