Small pocket pairs I play differently depending on my mood. If they raise big I may just push all in. Depending on what type of tournament I am playing. If it's a freeroll its and easy push. Ring games would have to think differently depending on how the player has been playing the whole time. If it is a low stakes game its definitely any easy call or all in. 10/20 in which is my favorite table you may even think about folding dependind on how many callers. Keep in mind low ring games most likely the most you will lose is $100 with a small pair. Not a big hit but at the 10/20NL a small pocket pair that loses to an all in could cost $400-$2000+. If you have never played in high stakes ring games before trust me its a whole new ball game. That 160 in chip raise in tourney play is really $160 in ring game play. Majorly different!
