The very same thing has happened to me. Not very often though. Usually, I force myself to fold the hand my instinct strongly tells me to call, then the flop and "DANG" it hit what I folded.

There is one site I have played on, if you play it long enough you can tell what range the cards are gonna fall in. I don't know if this can be done on other sites because I have not played the other sites as steady as I did this one. That doesn't mean it helped me win anymore hands, but it did influence whether I stayed in for the flop.
