chris moneymaker never played poker in his life.. he didn't know anything about this game.. he was inspired by "rounders" and after one (or two) year he became the WSOP champion.. it's really good movie - and begginer poker players can learn too much from this one.. there are too many sentences you can quote from this movie which really can help you in the game..
the other poker movie i watched was "Shade" with really good crew of actor but this movie is unrealistic and i don't know what game of poker they played there.. and there is nothing about skill and tips in this one.. it's only one good commercial poker movie about frauds..
i downloaded rounders, burned it into cd, and i think i'll watch it once per month
and one question for all: imagine the situation when you're dealt first hand when matt damon lost all his money.. A9 with A99 board..(when he re-raised preflop and just got a call) - and i saw this hand on my table of one tourney

.. is there a chance that anyone would fold that monster there, or wouldn't re-raised or moved allin ?
