Don't know if this will be a running tournament as well. As from my understanding most US accounts will be closed before the 15th. It is a scheme to block out all the US players from the main event. (500K Refer A Friend) I am registered in the event however I received an email yesterday stating we were no longer able to join the event. A few days prior to the email I was told I would be able to participate since my user name has been registered. Now today I have many complaints with
Titan Poker. I am angry enough to file some type of suit against
Titan Poker regarding the 500K tournament. In the past they screwed me over in a large amount of cash in which they would not let me to withdraw because at the time I did not have a bank account. So I was forced to gamble away a large sum of the winnings which ended up putting me in a huge bind. Now they are telling me I can't play in the 500K event. Which really pisses me off because I called
Titan Poker today and a representative told me you will be able to play in the tournament however after the tournament we can no longer allow you to play with
Titan Poker. I understood that completely as that is all I wanted out of this bad situation. Then I contact online support and they tell me you can't play and gave me a shitty copy and paste message stating about the new laws and such. I call back
Titan on the phone and talk to a guy named Garth and we got in an argument in which he ended up telling me we will no longer answer your calls and he hung up. I called back explaining I knew it was the guy who hung up and he tried to lie and say yes I heard from another representative that explained everything from you. He thought I was stupid that I couldn't tell it was the same dude. I told him in the previous call that a lady told me we were eilgible to play but then he tells me I have checked the recordings and there was nothing like that said to you. He said it as if I was lying. Then he had the nerve to hang up on me. I then called back again and gave him a piece of my mind referring directly to him and he said again we checked the recording and hung up again. Now this is childish act as I had to call back again and report him to a fellow
Titan representative who was more understanding of the situation. He told me we were unable to play and there was nothing that he personally could do. But he did tell me if you are still on the list on Sunday to try to play. I explained to him that it seems as if it is a scheme that they would block the US just before the main event. I told him that Fulltilt is still running legally within the US and are having a buyin event for 500K this weekend. Now why would we not be able to play in a freeroll that we earned? Another thing that bothers me is they have told people about not dealing with the US last week. But why for a week and a half since the notice is US players still playing in rings games, buyins, and freerolls? Everything to do with money except the casino games. It would be very fishy to see them close account right before the 500K tournament. If
Titan ends up banning the US players prior to the 500K Refer A Friend tournament I will be sure to fight for and gather each of the US players who were affected by this.
Titan poker made a lot of money from depositors who were affiliated with this big tournament. Me included in which I deposited thousands of dollars and I know for a fact I am not the biggest depositor on
Titan. I will fight for all the money
Titan Poker has made sponsoring this promotion and hope that each player affected by the decision gets split the money gained. It will be a huge loss for
Titan Poker if all plays out right. They screwed me over in the past and it will not happen this time.
Titan is still making money from US players who are buying in events and playing in ring games. Poker Ocean already banned the entire USA from any real money games. I definitely look forward to what comes about on the 15th. My case will be strong considering they still allow US players buying in events. Yet we can't play in the 500K freeroll this weekend? Get real! Not a great way to end ties with the US.
