If you're in late position and no one has made a play at the pot, any ace looks good to steal the blinds in my opinion. If the blinds are extremely high you push it. I'm not sure what "300 a pop" plays into, need to know stacks and level.
In early and middle position, I'd let it go UNLESS you've got maybe 3/4 BB's left. Once the blinds come through you, if you don't find a hand you're essentially done. I'd rather get all my money in with something like 78s or 910s to hopefully be more live, but you gotta work with what you've got. |
