One thing that's important to keep in mind is that the probability hitting an out to make your hand isn't necessarily the same as the probability of winning. An example might be hitting your K-high or Q-high flush but losing to a higher one.
Situations like this don't happen "all the time" by any means. However, when you look at your outs, you shouldn't automatically equate them with winning the hand. How much you should reduce the winning percentage depends on the board, the previous betting, etc. |
