i was playing @ a friends tonight and the buy in was 10 bucks...we like to play smaller buyins so we can play all night and have fun!!! with about 15 people the tourney pot still gets up there!
anyways i have read a few books on poker and seen some movies on how to improve my gameanyways everyone who plays poker says there will be times when you will get delt nothing, i mean really crappy hands...and they say if you be patient your hands will come...so anyways tonight,thankfully it was only a 10 buy in i played in a 15 man tourney i posted my blinds and never seen a flop for about 1 and a half hours my cards were all 6-2, 7-2, 3-6 and so on... i had a hand with k3 i almost craped my selfthis was the first face card i seen all night and blinds were already 100-200 ..we started them @25/50 and they were 15 min blinds...anyways i was getting really low stacked i was BB and i was delt 33 blinds were 400-200 and i had about 700 left everyone folded up to the button...he called. he was chip leader anyways i checked it and the flop comes 422...man that flop was a reliefe to me i threw in my chips and he called i figured i had him beat if he was gonna win he had to catch a card
he had me beat with a k4...and i was done
but back to the books and movies....all the pro's say you catch somthing somtime...just wait for it...
anyone els have a game like that...nothing but crap all night??
