Two weeks ago I played with some friends, and just as you, I had a really crappy night and didn't get any good cards, but by playing aggressively you still win pots by betting into weak hands who'll fold.
I went on to win the tourney (33 players entered with 25 bucks each person).
Ended up with jacks against pocket fours and pocket sevens. Knocked out the two remaining players in the same hand, that's classic. |
