To add to the list, Daniel Negreanu has two upcoming books. The first will be a guide to Texas Holdem. The second will be Negreanu's answer to Super System, a large book that addresses many different forms of poker.
Of the books mentioned on the old list, I recommend Erick Lindgren's book. While the book does have a lot of crap in it about the World Poker Tour, when the book address playing poker it's very useful information. The part of the book that discusses poker strategy is about 120 pages long, which is longer than the Holdem section in Super System. I also recommend Phil Gordon's Little Blue Book and his earlier Little Green Book--both very useful. |
