Pocket eights must be the hardest hand, not pocket jacks. Of course they are both good hands but there are so many hands that can beat you. If any of the high cards come up you are dead.
With jacks when someone goes over the top of you you can only do two things: Put him on high cards and call; put him on a higher pair and fold.
When someone goes over the top of you when you have pockets eights, you really don't know what to do. You know to do with jacks, pump it or dump it. |
