We haven't really stopped responding to the thread. In my case, I know nothing about how the promo code works. Hopefully BBP Guru will respond soon and let you know whether the promo is still valid.
It is important to note that the promo is for forum members with at least 5 posts to their credit. (That's listed in the starting post of the thread.) I see that some of you have just over 5 posts, but it's possible that you didn't at the time you applied.
