I was surprised reading through all these posts to see how many people changed their game for pocket aces. I bet the same if I am bluffing, holding monsters, or holding the nuts. I don't change it and if I do it's only because we are short handed and I see an advantage to doing so, or heads up, which is a different game altogether. I don't see why you would raise 2-3xb with ak, qq, jj, whatever, but then bet 4-6x with aa. Like I said, I only change it up if we are getting short handed because usually by then the blinds are getting up there where a few steals by overbetting are worth it. But I may have 89s or kk and my opponents won't know. I may have 7-2 and they won't know. I play it the same. That is the key. If you come out swinging then be prepared to keep swinging until it's over or your bluff will get busted, keep betting and you still hold that chance of winning even if they hold a good hand but not quite the nuts. I want to build that tight/aggressive image because it keeps the blinds rolling in throughout the tourney. But, if I were to give any advice besides play them the same, when it gets short handed push all in to steal the blind, heads up slow play them.
