i recieved a mail from my lovely host.. so i'll post it here (i was little paranoic what that package includes.. coz air ticket from here to kangaroo land is about 1700$) but when i saw this it's easier.. Yeah, dream is true for sure
- You will need to be available to leave your country of origin by the 10th January (your timezone)
- You will be arriving in Australia on January 12 and departing on the 20th of January 2007. ~ (Australian time)
- All your flights are paid for in full, but please let us know if you are bringing someone else and we can help organize them on the same flight (please note that they must pay for their own airfare).
- We need to know where the closest airport to you is, so we can book a domestic flight from there to the airport where you will board an International flight to Australia. (US Residents - Depart LA)
- When you land at Melbourne Airport Australia, you will need to locate the taxi rank and catch a cab to Crown Towers and check-in.
- We will be providing you with AU$500 spending money for the week.
- All your accommodation is paid for, we will book 8 nights/9 Days for you. Please lets us know if you have someone staying with you so we can organize an extra bed if required.
- After checking-in contact myself, Tina Wallmann from reception so i can organize your spending money and players pack for you, at this time its up to you if you want to relax in your room or you can join me downstairs at the bar for a few drinks and get to know each other.
- The following day, 13th January we will play a freeroll where all our players can meet and play during the day, then we will all join for dinner at a nice restaurant in Melbourne for a relaxing evening. (Please note this is also covered by us, if your bringing anyone along they will have to cover their own costs)
- Some of you will start the tournament on the 14th and some on the 15th if you have a preference please let me know, we pay for your registration and buy-in fee.
- When you’re ready for a break from the tables, you can choose to indulge in all that the luxurious Crown Entertainment Complex has to offer or step outside and soak up the summer sun as Melbourne hosts the 2007 Australian Tennis Open. You may pick a day or night session when you are here in Australia to watch live, this is also covered by us.
- I will have a list of activities and sites to see around Melbourne, if you have any spare time on your hands. I originally grew up in Melbourne so if you need to know where anything is just ask me, i will also have my phone on me so you can contact myself at anytime if you have any questions!
