You've got a point there, but I don't think acting the same way will do any good. You can't bet 3x bb everytime you want them to fold/call. That simply doesn't work
There are some funny things you can do, (I'm not stupid, I know this isn't really related but...) which I acctually tested myself on
full tilt yesterday. I raised 3x bb five hands in a row... Then I sat and waited for hands, and then the aces showed up. I bet 3x bb and everybody calls. Yepp everybody at $4/8 stakes the pot was already up to $168.
I flopped a set together with another guy and broke him (I was really happy since we had almost the same amount of chips, about 1/3 of the money on the table together). All seven players stayed to the flop, can you believe that?
