I think it depends on if you are playing online or live games. I know online for my self out of 57 times having AA I have won 35% of the time and yes I do track every hand I play online, it doesn't matter what position I am in if I slow play them or put in a bet 3 to 4 times the big blind. Some moron with T2 suited hits his flush or full house or tree of a kind. If I had T2 or similar suited or not and someone lays down 3-4 times the BB pre-flop I fold.
On the other hand when I go to the poker club different story I am more at 80% win with AA since you have the ability to face your opponent you get a since of what they have. And can play on their weakness and stare them down.
so all in all I think it really depends on where you are playing live or virtual. People seem more daring staring at a screen rather than staring the guy with AA who just re-raised your 22. |
