Default Does Table Image actually come into play in Online Tournaments?

While table image is certainly an important issue in live poker, as visual interactions are present. I'd like to question it's significantce in online poker tournaments.

Thing is, with online poker tournaments, there's alot of people whom all you remember them by is their names (if you can remember them at all) and at the same time you are seeing so many hands per hour that it's hard to remember every single hand that has been played throughout the tournament.

chances are people won't remember how you played that much in online tournaments. and as you get moved around from table to table, other's will barely notice that the player in seat 5 is a new person at the table.
thus, when you join the table and make purpose moves as in a failure bluff just to set an image, those things are pointless.

i rarely see a need to variate your play in online poker. unless you end up in a short handed table or heads up where you will probably be playing for a longer amount of time.

i'd like to hear some words on what you guys think
