In most poker strategy books and videos, KJ isn't even supposed to be a hand worth calling the big blind with, as it is a trap hand for beginner poker players.
However, I believe if the table is short-handed and there are not that many players in the hand, it can be one of the strongest hands.
Sure it can be a trap hand but the only hands that beat it are, KQ, KA, AQ, AJ, AA, QQ, KK, JJ, and KJ can beat some of those hands like JJ and QQ so it's a pretty decent hand sometimes... |
