Exactly, that has a lot to do with it - a lot of people have never heard of the game, and they don't see it on TV, so...same thing with Razz and Omaha. NL is the big game, so that's the one that everyone tends to go to. Also, few sites offer the game, so that's another reason it doesn't get much attention.
I wouldn't call it ludcrious....it's Hold'Em with a fun little twist. Picking a card to discard throws another thing to think about and strategize about into the mix. Give it a try sometime, you just might find that you enjoy it.
