Don't we all start playing simple games like WAR or 21...then move into the more complex games like draw poker and the like?
I remember games like Night Baseball which is a good learning game for learning the hands etc. Betting on it is good for starting to understand the odds of making each of your hands from a certain set of 'outs'. Memorization of folded cards is critical in this game.
I figured the memorization part out early on and was able to beat my grandmother and sister out of a lot of Haloween candy this way...lol |
