The weakest part of my game, is that quite often I am afraid to raise. I will get a hand that is good enough to raise with, and i will just passively call to see the flop. When I hit the flop this is ok, but when I don't, I quite often lose control of the pot. My opponent will lead out and bet, and now i'm in some trouble. I think the reason that i do it is that i am afraid of being put all in over the top. This is usually a problem because i will raise with hands like AA AK and good stuff like that. It's when i have A8 and similar hands. If I raise, and then get re-raised, my A8 doesn't look nearly as good. So I usually make a smooth call instead, when, in fact, most of the time, I will win the pot without even having to see the flop. Something to work on though
