I consider golf a hobby, not really a sport. Poker feels like that for me.
I do think it's kind of weird how some people proclaim how much of a sport poker is. For example, did anyone see the thing from either WSOP 04 or 05 about Annie Duke and how she works out so much to keep in shape for poker. I think that is when it starts to get out of hand. No offense, but you don't have to be in shape for poker. Poker's all in the mind. I put Poker on par with chess. Not sports, but require skills and abilities to be successful. |
