 Why do people bet a ton with an inside straight on the turn?
This isn't a specific bad beat story, but a general bad beat that happens to me a lot. Firstly, I've found that online people bet on inside straight draws a lot. There have been countless times when I bet a bunch on the turn with a good hand and they call with only an inside straight draw. I don't know what the exact odds are, but to call a big bet with a inside straight draw, isn't smart, in fact, it's dumb. The thing that makes this a bad beat story is that lots of times they make it, sometimes on some pretty big pots.
