 Good idea for a thread...
My weakness, I think, is trying to get too cute when my chip stack starts falling behind the average in tournaments. If it's a big tourney or a freeroll, then this happens at the beginning, when some players are going crazy all-in left, right, and center. Sometimes it's the middle, when things slow down but I just haven't been getting the cards.
Either way, that's when I start to call marginal hands, raise fair hands, bluff, and occasionally gamble all-in because I think that's the only way I can catch up to the average. I need to work on my patience in that respect. |
