Well I would imagine that it would be very annoying playing with amateur friends just because you'd have to instruct them. When I say live atmosphere I don't mean a little home game trying to teach holdem to friends. When I do play with my friends close to home the blinds are $2/4 or $3/6, so the pots get pretty big. Also, poker in casinos is great as long as you don't sit with obnoxious tourists.
I'm in no way trying to put down your home games, I just mean that it's a lot better being able to play with friends who love to make the trip to AC with me. |
