I think different author have thier strength. For example if you wanted to learn more about the psychology of the game and tells then I think Mike Caro is the best there, but if you want to learn about game play then I think that Hellmuth is the best. Because he does a good job of explaning his tactics, also in his book Play Like the Pros he divids his book into beginner, intermediate and expert so you can get something out of his book no matter what level you play at.

Although I havent read Sklansky and I heard hes pretty good so I might have to pick him up some time.
