Default WPT Season 5

Details have just been released for WPT Season 5 - and there are some noticeable changes. Gone is the Party Poker Million (a limit event, which was unique) and the Ultimate Bet Aruba Classic (never did win my trip....). WPT says "circumstances have changed" since they've come out with wptonline.com, but it's not hard to figure out what's happening. What's interesting is that they are keeping the Poker Stars Carribean Adventure (good, because I REALLY want to go there!). Perhaps they felt Stars was too big a target to push around?

Here's the schedule for the new season -
• Mirage Poker Showdown -- 05/14/06 - 05/17/06 -- The Mirage
• Mandalay Bay Poker Championship -- 06/04/06 - 06/08/06 -- Mandalay Bay
• Grand Prix de Paris -- 06/12/06 - 06/16/06 -- Aviation Club de France
• Legends of Poker -- 08/26/06 - 08/30/06 -- The Bicycle Casino
• Borgata Poker Open -- 09/15/06 - 09/19/06 -- Borgata
• North American Poker Championship -- 10/23/06 - 10/27/06 – TBA
• World Poker Finals -- 11/11/06 - 11/14/06 -- Foxwoods Resort Casino
• Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic -- 12/15/06 - 12/19/06 – Bellagio
• PokerStars.com Caribbean Poker Adventure -- 01/06/07 - 01/13/07 -- TBA
• World Poker Open -- 01/21/07 - 01/25/07 -- Gold Strike Casino
• L.A. Poker Classic -- 02/15/07 - 02/20/07 -- Commerce Casino
• WPT Invitational -- 02/21/07 - 02/23/07 -- Commerce Casino
• Bay 101 Shooting Star -- 02/27/07 - 03/03/07 -- Bay 101
• World Poker Challenge -- 03/26/07 - 03/29/07 -- Reno Hilton
• WPT World Championship -- 04/21/07 - 04/27/07 -- Bellagio

Let's get some BBP members to one of these events, okay??
