The best hand I ever played (or at least can think of at this time) was at a home game in which we had put together about a 10 person $20 buck tourny with 1 rebuy in the first hour. There were 4 guys left and I was 2nd in chips top 3 made the money. I forget the pre flop details but I had 10-K and was going against the big stack. The flop came 10-7-8 and I made a medium sized bet and the big stack quickly called. The turn came 10 and I raised all in. The big stack started to think and I put him on a draw so I quickly flipped over my 10 showing trips 10 to scare him out so he wouldnt draw out on me. He thought for a little longer and folded and flipped over pocket nines giving him a lot of outs. Of course he wanted to see what the last card was so the dealer played it out and he would have made his straight and I would have been out. He said he was planning on calling, but the fact that I had trips 10s got him out. I went on to win the tourny and take home a pretty nice pay day.
